Leaders and Helpers

Scouting is the UK’s largest mixed youth organisation with more than 450,000 members in the UK and more across the world.

Our Leader’s and Helper’s innovative spirit and ability to make things happen play a vital role in the development of young people everywhere and will give you the chance to make a big impact on the lives of young people.

FPSG is managed and run by a team of volunteers all of whom agree with the Principles and Aim of the Scout Association. Whatever your skills, interests or passions we can use you! Whether it in a uniformed position working directly with our young people or in a support role behind the scenes you will be given the necessary training.

Examples of roles are: Beaver, Cub, Scout or Explorer Leader or Assistant Leader, Skills Trainer, Outdoor Activity Specialist, Caretaker/Cleaner, Administrator, Secretarial, mechanical and DIY to name but a few! There’s more information on volunteering available at http://scouts.org.uk/get-involved.

In order to protect our young people it will be necessary for you to complete the DBS application process.

If you are aged 18 or over, please contact Neil Trivedi our Group Scout Leader by email at gsl@fpscouts.org.uk
or by phone/text on 07758 953366 to discuss how we can work together.

We look forward to hearing from you
