The Cub Scout section places emphasis on a Cub Scout doing his or her best.

Cubs take part in a wide range of activities designed to be interesting and challenging. A Cub Scout meeting consists of games and activities, with plenty of time spent outdoors.

What’s it all about?

In progressing through Cub Scouting, each member will be encouraged to make choices and learn to work as part of a team.

Cub ‘packs’ are split into smaller teams called ‘sixes’, and they’re led by more experienced Cubs appointed ‘Sixers’ and ‘Seconders’.

Camps and holidays are some of the most memorable events of the year for Cubs… but the programme also includes going on outings and visits; going camping and learning about the environment; and creating things.

Join us

We have two Cub packs, welcoming girls and boys from the age of 8 to 10. They meet weekly, on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings in term time, from 6:30pm to 8:00pm.
